Congratulations Adam Jones, Winner of the MLM Recognition Award for MLM Group - News - MLM

The MLM Recognition Award was established by the Group in celebration of Steve Adams, who sadly passed away in August 2015. MLM now hosts an annual award ceremony to honour Steve and the significant contribution he made to MLM.

This year’s award winner is Adam Jones of Building Services, London. Adam is highly regarded by his fellow colleagues and described as a fun team member who always aims to do the next project better and more efficiently than before – delivering a consistent standard at all times within the Building Services team.

In the last 12 months Adam has pushed the Revit MEP standards to such an extent that the work we deliver now is barely comparable to what we were doing two years ago. Adam was set the task of improving the engineers’ Revit abilities and has produced a training programme with materials in his own time to support this, which has been a success for the whole team.

Our two highly commended runners up of the award are Mark Barrell, Structures, Bristol and Arfat Choudhury, Building Services, London.

Mark demonstrates great collaboration skills and is always seeking better ways to bring other MLM disciplines into projects. Arfat’s work ethic goes beyond his years, he is a great communicator and always delivers on what he commits to. Both are considered by their colleagues to be great people to work with.

Neil Cooper, CEO comments:

“Adam is an innovative team player who always goes that extra mile in his work. Over the last 12 months he has provided valuable input in the direction he believes MLM should take, which pushes us further towards achieving our 2025 Vision. Mark and Arfat both make a considerable difference and maintain positivity in all they do.

The MLM Recognition Award focuses on our Vision and Values and recognises people who push the boundaries to demonstrate them. It is a fitting legacy to Steve, who was an outstanding role model to us all.”
