MLM Brighton Sponsor Evening Reception for Masters Fine Art Show at University of Brighton

MLM Group Brighton office were delighted to act as the first corporate sponsor of the drinks reception for the MA Fine Art show at University of Brighton on Thursday 12 July, in support of students of the Master of Fine Arts Programme.

University of Brighton is located next to Brighton Pavilion near the sea, which offered a beautiful setting for art lovers and guests to enjoy an evening reception and fine art by first and second year art students.

The exhibition ran from 9 to 13 July, featuring the works of around forty postgraduate artists. Spanning across 3 floors, including the Sculpture Hall and two studios, there was an eclectic mix of different media including sculpture, photography, drawing, painting, public art, audio and video art.

Jessica Oliver, Artist and Event Coordinator comments:

“Brighton University’s MA Fine Art show is a unique event offering an exciting opportunity to view and buy new works by emerging artists. Each artist began the year with an opportunity to challenge their ideas and approach in a show that serves to highlight the personal growth and progress of every participant.

“Recent graduates from the course have furthered their careers extremely well, with one being selected for a prestigious award.

“Our thanks go out to all of the teaching, technical, mentoring and administrative staff that continue to help make this exhibition such a popular event – as well as a huge thank you to MLM Group sponsors for making the show possible.”
