Pop-up art exhibition series From the Studio Floor returned to Cambridge in March, raising over £3,500 for charity.

MLM were proud to sponsor the popular event, alongside sponsorship partners Dernford and Stace LLP, which showcased an eclectic mix of contemporary artwork from 45 selected artists.

The money raised was donated to Cam Sight, a Cambridgeshire based charity supporting people of all ages living with low vision and blindness.

From the Studio Floor founder and curator, Jessica Oliver, expressed her delight with the success of the event:

“The show surpassed all expectations from previous years’ successes and in the short one week period showcased the raw talent of today’s art world in a dynamic and unfiltered way. It was a delight to be part of a charity project that supports such a worthy and inspiring cause.

“The positive effects and ripples of this show will undoubtedly reverberate into the future for the artists and charity alike; and thank you to all who made this show possible.”

Flóra Raffai, Chief Executive of Cam Sight said:

“Cam Sight is greatly appreciative of the ongoing support from MLM and From the Studio Floor. It is a wonderful opportunity for Cam Sight to engage with Cambridge’s rich artistic heritage and community, as well as raise awareness among local businesses and schools.”
