Interact Quiz Night - News - MLM

On Thursday, 22 November, Ipswich Interact hosted a brilliant evening at Greshams, Ipswich sponsored by MLM Group to raise money in memory of Nick Fayers. Nick was a leading personality in the local business community and chairman of Ipswich Interact, who sadly passed away in December 2017 after a longstanding illness, MEN1.

With over 200 people in attendance, the night was filled with laughs and fierce competition from all. After 12 rounds of tough questions and no phones allowed, everyone did extremely well, and a huge congratulations go to the winning team ‘Inquizative’ from BDO Ltd. A raffle with excellent prizes, donated by the companies who attended, followed. The evening raised a total of £5,035 for the Nick Fayers Amend Fund, which is an outstanding achievement by all.

A huge thank you to all who supported this event:
Barefoot and Gilles, Barnes Construction, BDO LLP, Birketts, Bower Fuller, Breheny Civil Engineering, Castons, Confabricor, Hoopers Architects Ltd, Johns Slater and Haward, JP Chick & Partners, Kier, KLH, Mixbrow, Morgan Sindall, Paul Weston Architect Ltd, Pick Everard, Potter Raper, Prettys Solicitors LLP, R G Carter, SEH French and WKP Architects.

Steve Oliver, Chairman at MLM comments:

“This was a fantastic event in memory of Nick and proved extremely successful. From everyone at Ipswich Interact and MLM Group, we thank all who attended and donated gifts and money to the fund. With your help and support the money raised will go directly to support further research into MEN1, without you all we wouldn’t have been able to raise such a large amount.”
