Straight Talking Peer Education are progressing their project with funding provided by MLM Foundation - News - MLM

Straight Talking Peer Education (STPE), a charity who work across London to support disadvantaged young parents and help get them back into education and employment, requested funding from MLM Foundation for a project to recruit, train and employ eight teenage parents to deliver 25 courses in schools across Hillingdon, Ealing and Hounslow.

They were selected as one of the three pilot projects to be awarded a grant by the MLM Foundation following its launch in October 2018.

The funding has given STPE the green light to get this project moving and it is progressing very well. Brian Van-Du, STPE comments:

“Since we were awarded the grant, we have contacted all the schools in the boroughs to schedule courses for the 2019 term starting in February. We have also conducted recruitment training during this period with approximately 8 new recruits to deliver courses.”
