The Connect Plus DBFO operates a framework with a range of contractors for lifecycle repair and maintenance works for their contract area, which includes the M25 and other motorways and trunk roads in the south east of England. MLM has undertaken a number of commissions through both Jackson Civil Engineering and Osborne for bridge joint inspections, repairs and upgrades since 2011 and these are ongoing.

For each package, outline works are identified by the Connect Plus team and then MLM and the Contractor inspects and carries out intrusive investigations, under traffic management protection where appropriate, to determine the extent and cause of the observed defects and to make recommendations for repair options. The recommendations are discussed in detail with the core team including specialist suppliers to draw on previous experience, best practice, whole-life costing and traffic management requirements.

MLM prepares detailed drawings of the proposals and inspects and certifies the construction works.
