Carefully designed by Guy Hollaway Architects, Fisherman’s Beach is a unique development boasting 60 new exclusive dwellings located directly on the picturesque beachfront of Hythe in Kent. Commercially billed as the ‘most exciting development on the south east coast’, the scheme consists of apartments, town houses and luxurious beach villas all with private parking and remarkable views across the shores.
In line with Kentish Project’s ethos to create sustainable new developments that drive modern living and set benchmarks in design, each unit is constructed using robust, environmentally friendly products, and stylishly finished with a suitable render/cladding to imitate locally recognised building forms, such as the pitched roof form of a fisherman hut.
The specialised detailing of the bespoke villas and some elements of the reinforced concrete floor slabs to the apartment blocks utilised 3D modelling software and design; this information was shared with a specialist sub-contractor who then went on to produce detailed cold rolled internal wall frame drawings.
